Entry requirements & what's included

Minimum requirements:

  • Your ITT Provider must have recommended you for a course of this duration
  • A desire to improve your subject knowledge in your specialist subject.

To be eligible for DfE funding you must:

  • have been recommended for an SKE course by your ITT provider as a condition of your Initial Teacher Training (ITT) place. Written evidence required.
  • have a confirmed place on an ITT programme starting September 2020 or currently completing your training (started September 2019).
  • not have previously attended any other DfE-funded SKE course.
